Begun in 2021, AURRA was established by Raju and Anita to cater to what was seen as a gap in the market for supply of “the best suited” ironmongery independent of brand affiliation. In Raju’s experience in the field of ironmongery of over 30 years, he believes that every customer should have the option to receive focused attention on their requirements, no matter the size or complexity of the project.
The first set of projects for AURRA were therefore with customers who required unique ironmongery solutions. Till date, AURRA remains brand-independent for ironmongery, with the customers’ needs in terms of technical requirements and value being the focus of the solutions presented by AURRA for the project.
Seeking one such solution, for a main door knocker for a prestigious restaurant in Dubai, brought Raju and Anita in touch with Artisticks, designers and manufacturers of a range of architectural products in metal. And also, from talking to architects and interior designers, the supply of interior-related accessories was a natural progression for AURRA, creating the range “Art for Architecture.
Currently, AURRA deals in ironmongery, doors (in metal or timber, acoustic, and fire-rated), and a wide range of interior accessories in metal and canvas art.

Managing Director
Raju Iyer has been working in the field of ironmongery and doors in the GCC since 1993. He has a Dip GAI certification as a specialist in the field of architectural hardware.
He has been part of the technical team of many a prestigious project in the GCC including Doha Metro, Burj Rafal in KSA, Emirates Towers in Dubai, ADNOC HQ in Abu Dhabi, DUT by DMCC to name a few.
A Chartered Accountant by profession aids his technical knowledge to be backed up by a strong commercial Acumen. He is primarily responsible for the Ironmongery vertical of the business.
Co-Founder | Head Of Business (Art For Architecture)
Anita is a creatively inclined individual and has been an entrepreneur in the creative spectrum with her own line of products trademarked Artamorè.
Anita is responsible for the Art for architecture vertical in AURRA and she takes care of the metalworks and paintings vertical of the business.
Anita is a qualified accountant, CMA and ICMA certified professional who has worked in the management accounting function for over 20 years. Her experience is mainly with MNC’s.
Apart from this Anita is responsible for all financial operations of AURRA. She has the administration and finance team reporting to her.
Estimation Manager
Cristine has worked as an estimation and sales coordinator in the field of ironmongery in the U.A.E. for over four years. She took a break and went back to the Philippines since 2019.
She has since returned to the U.A.E. and is a part of our sales co-ordination and estimation team.
Her educational background is that of accounting which explains her accuracy and speed in preparing quotations.
Admin Support
Salik Shaikh is an exciting new prospect to join the team. He is the youngest member of the team and come to Dubai recently.
His administrative skills were demonstrated in the assignments he had in India for over two years. He is a science graduate and we are happy to have him as a part of our team.
Logistic Support
Tohid is a very skilled driver and has worked in the field of ironmongery for over three years in the U.A.E.
Tohid is an important link between the end customer and our suppliers in terms of logistics. His knowledge of ironmongery goes a long way in minimizing errors in performance when it comes to checking the quality of products and making timely deliveries.
Business Development Manager
Oliver is our newest addition here at Aurra, coming from the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland.
He is a fresh face in the Construction industry and new to Dubai, having previously worked in the Hospitality sector, with his most recent employment being the Beverage Manager for entire beverage department in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. With a keen eye for detail, warm Scottish hospitality and a keen drive for progression, Oliver has instantly hit the ground running. He has a lot to learn in the technicalities of the industry, but he is very keen to learn. Welcome to the team Oliver!
Marketing Manager
Ahmad comes in with a rich experience of project management in Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. An engineer by profession Ahmad has joined the team with a view to develop the Art for architecture vertical with Anita.
His experience of being on the other side of the table and connections in the industry is a boost to enhance AURRA growth in the market with Art for architecture.
