AURRA was founded by Raju and Anita, combining their expertise in two distinct verticals. Raju focuses on ironmongery, while Anita leads the creative development of metal artwork.
Raju, with over 30 years of experience in the ironmongery industry, identified a significant gap in the market for supply of “the best suited” ironmongery independent of brand affiliation. He believes every client, regardless of the project’s size or complexity, deserves personalized attention and the best-suited ironmongery solutions.
Anita brings her extensive experience in product design and sales in India to AURRA. She specializes in metal artwork, not limited to murals, sculptures, door embellishments, custom handles, pooja room designs, railings, and more. These pieces are skillfully created using materials like brass, copper, and white metal.
AURRA’s first projects catered to customers seeking unique ironmongery solutions. Till date, the company remains proudly brand-independent, focusing on delivering solutions that meet clients’ technical and aesthetic needs.
The natural extension of ironmongery was providing a wide range of metal works solution. From casted metal to liquid metal finishes, paint effects, trims, and cladding, AURRA provides tailored solutions to premium projects.
AURRA began its journey in 2021 with just two dedicated individuals and grew to a team of seven by 2023. The year 2024 saw exponential growth, leading to the addition of four more talented members. By early 2025, AURRA is set to expand further, and will be adding five more individuals to reflecting the vision and business model of the founders.
It is worth mentioning that one of AURRA’s proudest achievements has been its ability to retain every team member since inception. This success is not solely attributed to the compensation, but to the supportive and inspiring work environment that AURRA fosters.

Raju Iyer has been working in the field of ironmongery and doors in the GCC since 1993. He has a Dip GAI certification as a specialist in the field of architectural hardware.
He has been part of the technical team of many a prestigious project in the GCC including Doha Metro, Burj Rafal in KSA, Emirates Towers in Dubai, ADNOC HQ in Abu Dhabi, DUT by DMCC to name a few.
A Chartered Accountant by profession aids his technical knowledge to be backed up by a strong commercial Acumen. He is primarily responsible for the Ironmongery vertical of the business.
The natural extension of doing the Artamorè business was to get involved in metal artwork business in the Middle East.
Anita is responsible for the Art for architecture vertical in AURRA and she takes care of the metalworks and paintings vertical of the business.
Anita is a qualified accountant, CMA and ICMA certified professional who has worked in the management accounting function for over 20 years. Her experience is mainly with MNC’s.
Apart from this Anita is responsible for all financial operations of AURRA. She has the administration and finance team reporting to her.
Ahmad has been an integral part of our team for the past two years. With his ability to independently navigate the market and secure projects, he has carved out a niche for himself through hard work and dedication. We are proud of his achievements and wish him continued success in all his endeavors.
Oliver hails from the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland. Being new to the industry and region, he brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the table. Over the past two years, his exceptional networking skills and high energy have consistently contributed to our growth. We’re excited about the potential he brings and look forward to seeing his continued success in 2025.
Christine has excelled in her role of the Estimation Manager within the company. She now leads a team of four colleagues, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to her work.
Ali recently joined our logistics operations team. He has over 20 years of valuable field experience and an in-depth knowledge of various locations across the UAE. His spoken English and presentation skills perfectly complement the expertise of Touhid, who has been with us for over two years.
Suresh brings over 20 years of business expertise and an extensive network within the construction industry, making him a valuable addition to the team. He will work alongside Oliver and Ahmad in the sales team. Like the rest of our sales team when they started, Suresh is currently learning into the complexities of the ironmongery and metalwork business.
As our organization continues to grow, we decided to bring in a full-time, in-house accountant to ensure timely reporting and the smooth functioning of internal processes and systems. Komal, alongside Salik, will play a key role in meeting this requirement for AURRA. She will oversee accounting and internal financial reporting.
Pramod Kurien has over 10 years of experience in ironmongery estimation and technical expertise in client servicing. He has worked extensively in the Middle East region, and possesses a deep understanding of client preferences in the GCC region. Pramod will be a valuable asset to AURRA and a strong support to Christine, to maximize productivity in our rapidly growing organisation.
Tohid is a very skilled driver and has worked in the field of ironmongery for over three years in the U.A.E.
Tohid is an important link between the end customer and our suppliers in terms of logistics. His knowledge of ironmongery goes a long way in minimizing errors in performance when it comes to checking the quality of products and making timely deliveries.
